Queen Victoria and her consort Prince invite you to join them at the Hull Museums Quarter for a joyous Victorian Christmas celebration.

Join us and immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas past with a wonderful selection of activities including:

In addition to the main attractions there will also be:

 

  • Victorian and Dickensian Characters (BSL)**

  • Traditional Christmas craft activities

  • Storytelling (BSL)**

  • Fairground organ

  • Food and drink stalls

  • Market stalls

Christmas Hat Craft Competition

In one of the craft activities at the event, you can decorate your own festive top hat or crown to wear. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert will award a family ticket for 4 people for Goldilocks and the Three Bears at Hull New Theatre to the best decorated hat or crown each day at 1pm!

Get dressed up!

If you’d like, you could come along to the event dressed like a Victorian as you join in the fun! We’ll also have a photo opportunity area with some dress up items and props for you to enjoy.

Charges

*There will be a charge of £2 per person for carousel rides and horse and carriage rides. Cash and card payments will both be available. Children aged 2 and under can ride for free.

 

British Sign Language Interpretation

**A selection of the storytelling sessions and Victorian and Dickensian character performances each day will be British Sign Language interpreted. To find out the times of these sessions, a full schedule for the day and access information please visit hullmuseums.co.uk

 

Please note that due to the busy nature of this event, no dogs, other than assistance dogs, will be allowed into the event - even in the museum grounds.
