What to expect from your in-school Experience
If you’re studying suffragettes, campaigners or looking for a local history study that focusses on an inspirational female figure from Hull’s past, we have an exciting free offer exclusive to Hull Curriculum member schools this Spring and Summer.
In this 1 hour session, our experienced actor will bring Mary Murdoch vividly to life in your school. ‘Mary’ will arrive at your school in full costumed character and through the investigation of historic artefacts and questioning Mary herself, pupils will reveal who she is and learn about her achivements and legacy.
Your in-school session includes:
- Meet 'Mary' in your classroom - our actor will arrive in full costume as campaigner, Mary Murdoch
- Question and answer session with Mary - challenging your pupils to find out more information about who she is
- Investigating artefacts and replicas, along with source material to discover more about Mary's life, work and achivements.

We can deliver this in-school workshop for up to two groups in your school per available date – with a maximum of 35 pupils per group.
